Hata yoga means “yoga of activity”. It includes asanas along with pranayam and shatkarma holding each asan for a particular time period with a specific breathing
pattern. As per Hatha yoga, there are 2 energies in every human being. they are the solar and lunar energies. The balance of these 2 gives health and their imbalance creates
ha = sun, tha = moon. By practising Hatha yoga, the balance of these 2 energies is attained and ultimately raises these energies to their maximum levels.
